IATH Academy is pleased to announce the opening of registrations for its new Advanced Specialization Summer School: “COMO Lifestyle Content Creation.” This immersive program, conducted entirely in English, is designed for anyone who wants to learn how to capture the excellence of our region and transform it into compelling digital content.

Who is it for?
Where do we start? With your curiosity. This Summer School is open to everyone—from complete beginners who have never picked up a camera to those who already have some photography experience. No prior qualifications are required; the only essential tools are passion and a desire to explore.
An Exceptional Instructor: participants will be guided by Marco Nero Formisano, a versatile professional in the world of visual arts and filmmaking. As a director, photography instructor, and filmmaking educator, Formisano combines strong technical and artistic expertise with extensive hands-on experience.
A Program Combining Theory and Practical Experience: the Summer School offers a practical and dynamic approach: theory is immediately put into practice through continuous hands-on sessions within the advanced technological environment of IATH Academy. The curriculum focuses on three key pillars:
- Technique and Lighting: lenses, exposure, depth of field, natural and artificial lighting.
- Composition and Genres: portrait, landscape, and still life photography.
- Post-Production: introduction to post-production techniques.
No equipment? No problem! You may bring whatever you use every day—whether it is a DSLR, mirrorless camera, vintage camera, or smartphone—or take advantage of the professional lighting systems and state-of-the-art cameras provided by IATH Experience Center Lake Como, the course venue.
What Will You Take Home? By the end of the course, participants will not only have gained new skills but will also receive a complete package to enhance their professional profile:
- An official IATH Academy Certificate of Participation in printed format.
- A certified “LinkedIn Ready” Digital Badge.
- A Personalized Portfolio Review, including three professionally post-produced photographs approved by the instructor.
- A Creator Starter Pack containing exclusive digital resources and templates to continue practicing independently.
The course includes a total of 22 hours of training spread across 5 immersive days, from July 9 to July 15, 2026:
July 9–14: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
July 15: Extended session until 4:00 PM
Participation fees are designed to reward early registration and group enrollment:
- Early Bird Rate (for registrations by June 22): €300.00
- Standard Rate: €400.00
- “Bring a Friend” Promotion (total fee for 2 students): €560.00
An additional €10 insurance fee will be applied to the registration cost.
