IATH Sport Day returns for its fourth edition, confirming itself as a key event for students, institutions and entities in the sports sector. More than a simple sporting event, this day represents a true laboratory of values, conceived, promoted and organized by the students of the Academy with the support of the Event Management professors.
Sport and education: a winning combination
During the event, students challenged each other in volleyball, basketball, soccer and ping-pong tournaments, in a climate of healthy competition, respect and fair play. The goal is not only victory, but personal and collective growth through teamwork, collaboration and inclusion, fundamental elements for those preparing to enter the world of hospitality and tourism.
An immersive experience for students
IATH Sport Day is the result of a training course that began in November 2024 and continued until March 9. The students, in addition to being protagonists in the field, took care of the organization of the event, applying in a practical way the skills acquired in the classroom in the management and planning of sports events. A concrete opportunity to develop leadership, problem-solving and teamwork management skills.
An event that connects territory, sport and tourism
IATH Academy promotes the value of sport as a driver of well-being, connection and territorial development. This edition was created with the patronage of: Municipality of Cernobbio, CONI Lombardia, Federazione Italiana Canottaggio Lombardia and Panathlon Como, as evidence of the importance of the synergy between sport, tourism and territory.
The event was made possible thanks to the collaboration with important partners such as Como 1907, Enervit and Cometa Associazione Sportiva, and with the contribution of our sponsors: Herbalife, DIMA Impianti and Di-Bi.
